Report For Week Of 4/2/2018

A friend while fishing for Stripers in the lower Hoosy hooked and released a very large Atlantic. He has done this several times before in previous seasons always in late March or early April. We have seen a brief vid of this fish.

We have head of a report of a large striper way up in the Ct River in Mass that appeared to be a fresh fish, not one that wintered over. We have also heard reports of some Herring in the small tribs, a positive sign in the face of an otherwise uncommonly cold early spring.
